Woods of Terror Greensboro, NC

We attended Woods for the first time last year, and fell in love. The atmosphere is spooktacular right from the begining. We always go on Sunday(which I love that this is an option). There is a $5 parking fee per car, and on Sunday the Cover is $20 per person.
So you start off walking in and buying your ticket, and then you are stopped and handed a playing card(which is awesome) and when you card is called out you then can get in line to get in the the haunted house. While waiting there are activities to keep you busy, including a few food stands( which the food is always good) there is also a few games and a "gift shop". There used to be a hooka spot where you can smoke a hooka if you are 18, and this sadly was gone this year. And there is also a photo booth, which we always get out pics taken. Eddie the owner is always walking around(unless and emergency or he is needed somewhere else) here getting feed back and socializing with everyone he can, and you will know him as he is the one with the beautiful snake around his neck which opens up yet another photo opp. This is what i love about Woods, is the effort to socialize and take part in making your visit worth it.
Once your card is called, you return the card and get to get in line for about an hour and a half walk right thru the woods and on this walk you go in and out of 18 different settings all of which are great in their own way. Infestation is the first on the list, and will really get you opened up to a new LIGHT on life, haha you have to attend to get that pun. There is also a 3D haunted house within Woods which is deff one of the better houses, I have never seen a 3D haunted house until Woods and its deff a different expierence. The actors in Woods really spend a lot of time on make up( they have some of the best I have seen) and a lot of time going in to training of how to scare ppl.
This year we seen a lot of new attractions and great changes to your adventure. The air pillows are amazing and will really test your dependance on others in your group. On a different note, sadly one of our favorite parts in Woods was not open when we went thru this year. To my understanding it was due to repairs on the Pirate Ship( a part of Woods that im still trying to figure out how it works). But I hope to return and see it open.
There is a few spots that get me "kicking" and screaming so yes this is one of our top priority visits during the Halloween season.
Woods of Terror gets a 5 star rating from me. And you have not lived life until you attend this haunted attraction.
